About the Event

Sukkot Jam is a celebration in the Sukkah for children and their families. Join us in our vibrant and welcoming Sukkah space, where together we will engage with the symbols of the harvest holiday. Sukkot Jam is presented with support from PJ Library in partnership with Tkiya, who will bring their signature blend of fun and learning, with songs, stories, dancing, puppets, bubbles, and more! Kosher snacks and bagels will be served. We will also learn and play with an interactive kids’ comedy drag performance by the Trash Sommeliers. This program will take place within an inclusive artist-created Sukkah in the courtyard of the Ring Community Center at Luria Academy of Brooklyn. Whether your family celebrates every year, or you’re Sukkot-first-timers, this program will welcome you with lots of fun! Sukkot Jam is best suited for kids age 0-6; siblings are welcome. Sukkot Jam is presented by The Neighborhood: An Urban Center for Jewish Life in partnership with Tkiya and PJ Library as a part of the Sukkot in The Neighborhood festival at the Ring Community Center at Luria Academy of Brooklyn. Sukkot in The Neighborhood events take place in an art installation Sukkah created by Ye’ela Wilschanski.
